I bought my in laws a digital picture frame for Christmas.  And I had to buy an SD card to put in it.  My question is this:  Can I take pictures off my computer and put them on the card, or do I have to put the card in my camera and start snapping a crap ton of pictures before Christmas??

Danke!

if you have a SD reader on your computer (or you can get them at Radio Shack, if you guys have them) you should be able to transfer pictures to the card, I've done it with the card for my phone... its just like a flash drive or anything like that.

Make sure that the formats are the same too or the camera won't be able to read the pictures you put on there

Yep, you can upload from your computer.  Most newer computers have all of the slots necessary, just make sure you use the right one Smile

Depending on the camera, you might be able to use it to drag pictures from your computer to the card.

Oh, yep, that would work too... if you've got the camera connected with the usb cable, it will be recognized as a drive.
