In case some people don't know me anymore  Sad

I'm Chrisandra ~ married to my best friend Gordon. Mom to 6 awesome kidlets. Adrianna 11, Madison 10, Cierra 9, Samantha 8, Connor 6 and Amelia 1.

I am a used to work 50+ hours a week at a stressful corporate engineering job turned unexpectedly SAHM when people stopped buying cars. My husband is also currently a SAHD due to the same reasons. But on the bright side we live in Michigan, so we currently get 79 weeks of unemployment.

The kids keep me busy. Adrianna is struggling to try and figure out how to be a teenager, she keeps us busy with having to come up with new, creative punishment.

Madison is my competitive baton twirler, she is currently getting ready for internaltions this summer. She won one silver and two bronze medals last summer at the Junior Olympics.

Cierra also twirls, but just for fun. She is an awesome Byronic with very little social skills but she is so sweet. She won a regional beauty pageant and was crowned queen for her age group.

Samantha is the quite shy one. She is busy with girl scouts this year.

Connor is my one and only little boy. He just started a bowling league with Gordon. It is an awesome thing for them.

Amelia is my baby! She won her regional queen title at a beauty pageant also! At the state competition, she came in 1st runner up (out of like 36 babies)! She is busy learning to walk.

Gordon, the 5 oldest kids and I are also involved in Tang Soo Do. We just tested tonight, and most of us will be moving on to our orange belts.

It is been a long year for me *learning* how to stay at home, it is completely a different type of parenting, that I had no experience with before. I think I have it down now ~ so I plan to be a round lots more  biggrin

My hubby and I are both SAHP's too, but for different reasons. I was hurt on the job 5 yrs ago on may 9th and my DH was hurt 6 mos later. Long story short is we are both disabled. But that has opened up tons of doors for us. We were able to take custody of our two youngest (biological nieces) 3 years ago wth just 2 days notice. They are doing so good now and are so happy and completely healthy! And our girls have thrived with us at home as well. Steven and I were both in retail management and worked CRAZY hours. And as you know all too well, life with 6 kids is crazy enough!!

Life with 6 kids is crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have really enjoyed getting to know them all on a different level. I am so much more involved in their lives right now then I think I have ever been. I have really been debating ever going back to the kind of work I was doing before. We seem to be making it just fine on a fraction of the income we used to have, so it really makes you re-evaluate how important your *fancy* jobs were in the first place.

I totally admit it was the last reply to my birthday wish that made me log on yesterday. I forgot how active this place was and how much I liked it. xoxo
