Today was Chantel's first day of high school. She did excellent and most of her classes are mainstream, we'll see how that goes. She said she started to have panic attacks at least twice and was able to manage herself through them both and not have a breakdown. I'm a very proud mama today, even if her being in high school makes me feel old. I hope she does really well |

We have a guy who drives a truck around thats COVERED in doll heads. I've seen that truck! I live in the state capital, which happens to be where the state hospital is and where the facilities for mentally challenged used to be. There are way too many interesting and weird people for me to even start a list. |

totally oblivious, driving to work, until I got their and every, including all the inmates, were transfixed to the TV's, eyes wide open and mouths agape in shock That was pretty much the same for me. Minus the inmates. Instead I got to deal with a shelter full of traumatized women staring at the TV and the rest of the day was spent in some sort of therapy/crisis counseling with the women on my case load. |

The kids all had a good first day of school. Hopefully Connor remains this optimistic.
Now, if I could stop stressing out about Tom's ex-wife essentially abandoning the kids to "settle in" with her boyfriend, my day would be pretty good. But she's a douche bag, and is killing my buzz! |
